This 2nd edition: Tushirikiane Gala

Businessmen, personalities and general public from France and Kenya met in Paris on Friday 6 th
May2022 for an evening full and rich of networking, food sampling, art and thrilling music that got
everyone on their feet . This, in a nutshell, marked the second edition of Tushirikiane (‘let’s
collaborate) gala dinner organized by the  Kenya France Business  Club under the patronage of
the  Kenya Embassy in France . The objective of this edition was to offer an opportunity for
strategic partnerships, the promotion of Brand Kenya in the field of the creative arts and
supporting social initiatives. It was also a key function to further promote tourism and culture in
East Africa through art, food and music..

The evening kicked off with welcoming remarks from the host, Kenya France Business Club
president, Madame Veronica Kariuki, to everyone and reiterated the possibilities that collaboration
can achieve with agenda of the evening in mind.
Presentations followed from our sponsors and collaborators: Dassault systems, Growth Supply ,
African Development Solutions, Kenya Airways and Taptapsend. Our charity of the evening was
presented by Madame Janeth Mbugua via video link from Nairobi. All presentations that evening
had one common underlying theme; bringing sustainable solutions to everyday challenges through
collaboration

Representatives from reputable companies like Meridiam, Choisiel Institut, Rubis Energy BPI
France, EBM Business school were also recognized.
With drinks and music in the background, the evening rolled on quite fast and it was time for the
guests to sample the food and entertainment. This was well achieved by presentations from
Evans Mbugua(Art), Areke by Juliet and Makadem(traditional Kenyan folk music),
Afrikouture(Fashion) photizoartgallery.
The attraction of the evening finally came and no sooner had the international award-winning Afro
fusion artiste Eric Wainaina taken to the stage than everyone completely got immersed in the
rhythm and mood.
Closing remarks from the host once again brought down the curtain on an evening well spent. She
thanked everyone with the hope and promise to see everyone in the next edition of Tushirikiane
gala.
