Presentation of the spring/summer collection 2016 by Yaz Moek at Hotel Mélia Vendome.A celebration of earth colors, cultural roots and the art of creation, this collection pays homage to the female form and the free spirit of the child within. The collection featured pieces crafted from leather, chiffon, jersey and silk with meticulous pearl embellishments and hand sewn embroidering.
ABOUT YAZ MOEK
Yaz Moek is the brainchild of designer Yasmin Abdi of Kenyan-Somali heritage. She is a former student of the Paris American Academy and uses her passion for fashion to highlight social problems facing the traditional women of Northern Kenya. Her foundation K.S.E.N provides a voice for the women who face domestic violence and are voiceless.
